It gives me great pleasure to welcome all of you to the OBEC Cambridge School Summit 2020 It is inspiring to see delegates from many international schools of different provinces to come together here, in Bangkok Thailand, to participate in this essential event.
Everyone has come a great distance. Not only in physical miles but in the great
distance you have traveled in terms of personal growth and life experiences. In the midst of this pandemic, we are still one and resilient, to stand up and fight all of this to be able to celebrate the value of education for our future leaders and successful students in the future. With all of the challenges that we face today, the importance of working together towards one common goal is even more important a great leader and influence people to create change for betterment of everyone around them. A great leader has the ability to actively listen, meaning that everyone’s words matter. No matter which position they are in.
I hope this gathering will accomplish all its aims and earnestly desire that all the participants will be able to benefit from the presentations, discussion and competitions and that this gathering will enrich students’ knowledge and skills and let this experience be another step to our student’s progress in the future.
